View Quoted Comment The hall we rented has a small stage, that we are decorating a set to look like a Victorian living room for our ceremony to be held in (it'll be our photo booth later). Then we've got these really cool wooden 3D puzzles for every table that we've been building. They're clocks and telescopes and geared contraptions. Then our flowers are wood Sola flowers + paper flowers we're making out of old thrift store book pages. Colors are burgundy & cream, plus a black accent. We have "health potion" bottles for our favors, with funny curative labels that'll actually be loose leaf teas. That's about it, I think. The stage set is the big thing to make, and the flowers are time consuming, but we're DIY-ing most everything we can and we've got 11 months to do it.

We're doing a church wedding, but the two mountains, the owl, and the log was my best attempt to express a Twin Peaks theme. We're doing a dessert table with pie, donuts and darn fine coffee!

This is such a neat idea! We are getting married at a resort in Coastal GA next fall 😊 ceremony is outside in a beautiful sunken garden with fountains, cocktail hour is in the courtyard of an Italian-style building next to the garden, and reception is in one of the resort restaurants facing the bay! Wedding colors are dusty blue, burgundy, and cranberry 😍

The Sola flowers are certainly time consuming (I worked with them a little bit before I gave up on it lol), but can turn out so nice in the end! The wooden puzzles are unique and are a good way to keep your guests entertained. Awesome ways to incorporate your theme. View Quoted Comment Thank you Lisa! Getting married right here in New Jersey!! At a beautiful Chateau on a grand estate that we'll have all to our selves for 24 hours. Having a dj combined with some live musicians for the reception. Live music and singers for the ceremony, and Playlist playing during the cocktail hour with live sax. It's really going to beautiful and fun!!
