Dermaplaning

Following because I have been debating this procedure for a while. I am just worried my brows will have be shaped funny with it.

You are talking brows or the facial?

Isn't that just shaving your face? I do that at home sometimes with the cheap Tinkle brand razors. It makes your skin really smooth and makes foundation apply better, but I've noticed that my acne scars (which are usually barely noticeable) are more noticeable when I do it.

I do the Rodan and Fields wheel. I would be chicken to do the chemical or laser procedure.

I can't believe no one has heard of this. It is HUGE here. It's basically a gentle exfoliation (well more gentle than say a chemical peel) it's basically shaving off of the tip layer of dead skin cells on your face/neck.

I just had this done for the first time on Tuesday. I loved it , my skin felt amazing afterwards. Does not hurt at all, really just feels like a cat licking your face over and over again.

I guess my main concern is the "peach fuzz" they shave off growing back weird lol. Did anyone have trouble with breakouts after?

Olivia, are you acne prone though? I've heard if you have acne more than just the occasional breakout that it's not good to do dermaplaning
