Denver Area Venues??

Hello, I keep searching and searching for a Denver area wedding venue that allows outside catering. Does anyone have any suggestions? Anywhere between Fort Collins and Downtown Denver would be appreciated. Thank you!

You could try working backwards. Find a caterer that you're interested in first and see if they have any venue recommendations that you can look into.

Oh ok then, then this affordable option in FoCo probably isn't for you. It's for people that would prefer a slab of chicken, steak or salmon prepared and served by professionals over some food prepared by God knows who in God knows where and transported by God knows what. A big fat no thanks to self catering and risking the health of my guests and forcing people I want to be guests to be slaving over food at my wedding (not to mention the logistics like cleanup-yikes). But, hey, if that's what you are used to- go for it. Just know that 1) you will have trouble finding a nice venue that allows this 2) you won't find much if any help on WW for suggestions for this because the majority of the people here sharing their ideas and advice believe in proper hosting.

Simple venue search led me to all of these:

Seems like you tried really hard... That took me all of ten minutes.

Yes! Initially I had my heart set on an Estes Park wedding but once we checked out Arrowhead nothing else compared to the view. Our wedding will be 10/7/2017. I see your wedding date and love it! 11/11 is actually mine and FH dating anniversary. We considered that date as well because of that Smiley smile

My friend had her reception at Tivoli Brewery Turnhalle (she could have had the ceremony here too, but opted for an outdoor ceremony). It was absolutely stunning! <3

I know Tivoli doesn't allow outside catering, you have to use their partner caterers. However, I have worked with the one of their caterers almost non stop to make sure the food at my wedding is what I want. It isn't a slab of beef, chicken, or salmon and some mushy veggies. I am having a street taco bar with meat choices approved at a tasting. I would say don't necessarily discount a place that has approved caterers.

However, I was also in a similar boat. I wanted a place that would allow outside alcohol. I wanted to buy and bring my own alcohol so I could monitor what was being served. It was a pain finding a place but keep looking.

Winding River Ranch in Grand Lake allows BYO Catering

DU has a policy: Outside caterers are only allowed in certain locations and are subject to the University’s approval. We provide on-site catering services through DU Flavours by Sodexo.

Space Gallery in Denver allows outside catering as well.

There is a few more. I just googled "Venues that allow outside catering near me"

    Good luck.

@Mayeve -- I believe that Boettcher Mansion (Golden/Lookout Mountain) and Rembrandt Yard (Boulder) allow for outside catering. Both are beautiful venues.
