deleting fulfilled registry items?

Panda Bride, on May 1, 2011 at 11:33 PM Posted in Planning 0 5

Can I go ahead and delete the items off my registry that have been fulfilled? I know one time I printed someones registry, went to the store, and at the check out realized it said "fulfilled" and had to back into the store and re-pick my gift for them lol.

I think you can delete some of them- however I'd leave amny of them on there. Sometimes I look at the registered items to get things that match. I can see the couple's colors and they type of items they like. If I see everything they registered for in their kitchen is green, I'm not going to buy something red.

I'm certainly leave most of the items on there. Plus, if you delete the blender Aunt Sue bought you, good friend Jane may buy you a blender because there isn't one on the registry and it would make a nice gift.

    I wouldn't !!!!!!

Some stores use your registry as a RETURN RECEIPT... so don't take stuff off, they can use it when you need to return or exchange stuff.

I wouldn't either! We're registered at Macy's, and after your wedding they give you 5% of all the money spent on items off your registry back to you. If you delete the fulfilled items, they don't count anymore so you don't get money back for them!
