Delegating bridal shower duties

I know I shouldn't be involved in the planning of the bridal shower but I'm a huge planner and my MOH has a very like "it'll all work out" attitude and seems to not really be planning anything yet (shower is in 2.5 months). Did you give each bridesmaid a task (ex: food, decorations, favors, etc)? Some aspects seem to be quite pricy and I hate to force one specific bridesmaid to have to pay for it. Just curious what you ladies did. Thanks in advance!

    2.5 months is plenty of time! I agree with Jaci, let them sort it out. I only provided a guest list and addresses for mine.

    I bought the invitations because they were REALLY cheap but I sent my MOH a picture first and asked if she cared. She didn't.

    Nope I have 0 part in anything. I gave them a guest list and a list of dates that worked and they asked a few follow-ups (do I want games - brunch or afternoon?) It's all on them.

    I micromanaged and planned my shower. DONT DO IT. It's incredibly stressful to manage on top of everything else, let the bridesmaids do it for you. Planning my shower was my biggest regret of everything wedding related.
