Deformed finger from my ring! Yuck!

Sorry for the slightly gross post. I have been wearing my engagement ring pretty much 24/7 for 8 months now. Just took it off the other day and my finger looks super weird! Skinny where the ring was and fat at the knuckle. Gonna keep it off for a while in the hope it will go back to normal.

Anyone else get this? Did your finger go back to its normal state? It looks SO weird next to the other normal fingers.

Also take this as a public service announcement for any other brides wearing their ring 24/7! Not a good idea!

Maybe it's too tight. I've worn mine for just over a year 24/7 with no issue. I just have a tan line.

Even if you don't wear your ring 24/7, if you're wearing it every day your ring will just naturally make your finger smaller in the area your ring is in. (I work in a jewelry store and see this every day, even my coworker who takes her ring off to sleep/shower/gym/play with daughter....has a large indent where her ring lives on her hand)

But if it's a big enough indent that it's "gross" it might be too tight.

That's how mine is, but mine's going to be my wedding ring. I've seen it on other women too, I don't think it's a big deal.

Hmm it def doesnt feel too tight, I actually had to get it sized down by half a size a few months ago as it was slipping off. Something to think about though, thanks!
