Deep neckline alterations

I was wondering if anyone had had any luck taking out the mesh in a deep neckline dress. I think that the deeper neckline is very flattering, but since my skin tone is darker the mesh really stands out. I’m wondering if it’s possible to alter this and take out the mesh possibly add more padding?

The mesh in both of those is cosmetic so I don't think removing it would be an issue. If you want the added modesty of the mesh, you could have your seamstress replace it with mesh that better matches your skin tone.

Have you gone to see them in the store? They might be able to be ordered in a different color combo. I think removing the mesh on the first might not be an issue but removing it altogether on the second dress could be a problem. It could be keeping the top in place and laying correctly.
