Decline Rates

Rockie, on May 8, 2019 at 8:59 PM Posted in Planning 0 9
I am about 2 weeks from my RSVP date and feel like my numbers could go either way at this point.
Current numbers
Invited: 247
Yes: 127
No: 33
Waiting: 87
I have the space and budget for everyone but I admittedly would like the least amount as possible to reach the 175 minimum (need atleast 48 more yes making it a 30% decline rate)
The max I want is 204 just for room lay out purposes (max 77 more yes’s making it a 18% decline rate)
Essentially I want more than 48 yes’s but less than 77
a lot of the people who haven’t responded yet are out of town or older or relatives we haven’t spoken to in a while (I would say about 40%) the rest are local
What we’re your numbers like?
did you get more declines closer to your rsvp date?
also why can’t people just send them back, don’t they know I’m stressed hahah

We received majority of our declines midway.
We invited 198 and have now 132 attending. A week before I had to give my total 4 people backed out in attending so you May have that on your side as well to happen.

That would be nice too! We technically only need 10 more no’s to keep the floor plan how I like it which doesn’t feel too crazy out of 87 people

We invited 119 and currently have 59 attending, 17 declines (including plus ones that people aren't using), and waiting on 43. We have a 100 minimum so we are cutting it really close but we still have 3 weeks left until our RSVP date.

I invited 190-200 people. After my RSVP date I reached out to anyone who hadn't responded (at least those who I knew how to contact) and that got a few more. I'm 8 days away and have 110 people who have said yes. So, my rate isn't high - but I knew several wouldn't come, just not that many. That's okay though, I'm excited to spend time with those 110!

    Invited: 173

    Yes: 118

    Decline rate: 32%

For us, it was probably half and half accept/decline when we were super close to our date.

I wouldn’t mind having a larger decline rate. I just hate the waiting game haha. Hope I don’t end up having too call too many people.

We invites 225, rsvp date is 8 days away. We have 47 yes, 17 no. We even did online rsvp I’m irked. I’m hoping for no more than 150-175 yes. I have no idea at this point what we are getting back. Ugh.
