Decision made

Cristina, on July 23, 2020 at 1:15 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 7

We have gone back and forth so much on whether we should postpone or not and we finally made the decision to just postpone. Our original date was for October 25th this year and we have now postponed to April 3rd next year. This decision was not easy and I've been on emotional roller coaster. Now that we made our final decision I actually feel some type of relief or like a weight has been lifted. I understand that even next year we can possibly be in the same boat but at least we may have a better sense of what's going on. We still plan to get married this year on our October 23rd anniversary so I am happy about that. To all my brides that have postponed or are thinking about it my heart is with you because it is not an easy decision. Remember everything happens for a reason and to stay strong Smiley heart

So sorry you had to postpone! Hoping for the best for 2021. My fiance and I postponed our July 31, 2020 wedding to July 2022, and I also felt relief once we made the decision final to postpone. I know it wasn't an easy decision, but everything will work out! Best wishes!

It sure is a tough time currently especially for us brides! We are still getting married on the same day even if it is in the backyard. Unfortunately if we do change our original plans it seems we will be out a lot of money which is my concern.

Thats tough. I think it's really unfortunate when vendors can't work with you especially when everyone knows what's going on in the world right now. I hope everything works out for you 💕

Yep, the relief is real! We postponed from July 25 to May 22 and it was heartbreaking but the feeling of not having to worry about it anymore this year was so comforting. It's helpful to know that there are others in your shoes!

I'm so sorry you had to deal with this kind of decision in the first place, but I'm so glad you've felt some relief after making it! ❤️ And I'm so glad you'll still be saying "I do" soon! Smiley ring
