My wedding was in January, and we had sapphire blue, white, and silver. Great for a winter wedding! I think dark green would look nice too without going overwhelmingly Christmasy.

Jewel tones look amazing in winter against a snowy backdrop (sapphire is definitely my favoite). Also any metallics. I would probably avoid pastels, except for maybe one accent color max.

We haven’t picked exact shades yet, but we want a deep purple as the main color along with a leafy winter green and gold.

We’re going burgundy, ivory and eucalyptus colors. We’re incorporating pine cones into the bouquets and decorations too. Gold accents as well.

Congrats!!!!! I think it would depend on the location, since it can be cold or not. The venue is it open or close? but I think whatever makes you happy, just picture yourself walking in and see all your love ones having a great time. I believe that colors that are too strong that would take away the attention.

These comments are all great! I would do shades of blue. Add white and silver with a hint of red. For a December wedding. 😉 good luck happy wedding planning.

Wedding basic scheme: for the most part you will always have white, black, green and a metallic. I've seen people replacing black with a light brown or wood tones to give everything a lighter feel and I'm here for it.

    - If you want to lean into it being Christmas I would go with a dark pine or emerald green, a deep red like burgundy, get some mercury or vintage style gold accents. Make it feel rich in tone cause if you go to vibrant it gets distracting. Host your ceremony in front of a big fireplace and decorate the mantle (if there is one) maybe hang up stocking in your theme and have trees set up on the parameter of the ceremony space.

    - If you don't want Christmas vibes, honestly any color scheme will do, I recommend sticking to dark tones or going with a simple 3 color palette. Like white, black and gold this theme will never not look elegant and timeless to me.

Just for any one looking for pallet ideas for other seasons-

Spring colors tend to be pastels with lots of live flowers since it is prime season for buying live. Wicker baskets or lighting features give a lightness to your neutrals.

Summer tends to be a lot of vibrant citrus tones, although I've seen some beautiful blue and white themes this last summer adding lemons or dried oranges as a contrast color would be cute.

Fall pallets are almost always warm colors. If you can catch the trees at the right time, the leaves join with their natural hues. If you are a Halloween bride, go for a gothic or castle ruin type venue, dig into deep red velvets, sliver accents and black foliage for a til death do us part, vampire vibe. If that's not your vibe I get it, it's not for everyone, bright marigold and white roses pairs well with orange and white pumpkins.

Winter tends to lend itself to Christmas tones red, green and gold but you could also do dark blue, sliver, and white, or black white and gold. Stick with darker tones and don't forget the basic pallet that is silently present in every wedding.
