December or January

Kristen, on May 7, 2020 at 10:48 AM Posted in Planning 0 5
Ugh this whole thing has been so conflicting for me. But I’m stuck between warm tones and reds and a Christmas-y December wedding. Or cool tones and dusty blues wintery January wedding. Opinions?

I’m getting married this December and am having a Christmas theme. My bridesmaids are wearing a wine red color, the napkins will be wine red and green and our venue will be decorated for Christmas which makes things a lot easier😊

    Hi Kristen!

I think both would look amazing. I would take into consideration Christmas holiday and people taking trips/spending time with their loved ones. With that, I would personally go with January but that would just depend on your crowd.

    Good luck!

I think both are great, you can’t lose. I’m biased toward warm tones. It also depends on the mood of your venue. I got married the week before thanksgiving and did red and gold in the mountains. It was so cozy and warm and inviting. But I also like the idea of the January blues...more crisp and you won’t have date conflicts.

Thank you all for the help! We decided to stick to our original January plan and I’m feeling happy about to!
