So my sister told me today that my wedding (December 7) is not an actual winter wedding it is a fall wedding because winter actually starts the 21st of December 😱 I totally had no idea this was the case. Did anyone else know this? My mind is blown lol. She’s now asks me how my fall wedding planning is going 🤣 I’m sticking with the winter vibe for the remainder of my planning regardless.

    People typically use months when discussing season. So December is definitely winter.

    Yes the winter solstice is December 21. But who actually cares, December is a winter month lol. I would not consider a December wedding a fall wedding.

    We're getting married December 2nd, and its going to be SUPER CHRISTMAS! (And UFC LOL) It may technically be fall, bu we're gonna have a fa-la-la good time anyways LOL

    My cousin does that with my birthday (my birthday is just 11 days before Summer but we are at peak temps by my b-day). It sounds like it's all in good fun though. Smiley smile

    I think it's pretty common to not think about it anymore. Unless you celebrate the solstices (or have an extreme love for random trivia), it's easy to not think about. Smiley smile

    Totally winter lol. Our wedding was June 2, technically “spring” but we always referred to it as a summer wedding... it’s june and after Memorial Day, feels summery enough to me.

    Technically she's right. Fall doesn't end until the 21st. But I've always see December as a winter month. I think everyone I know sees it as a winter month. I was debating between a spring and winter wedding and I was aiming for the beginning of December for my winter wedding theme. I wouldn't let it get to you. Enjoy your winter vibe Smiley smile
