Hi! December 6th here! I’m pretty far along in planning, I basically have all my vendors except for our transportation between the venue and hotel for guests. I have bought a little bit of decor (found some cheap candle holders on Facebook marketplace) but otherwise I have taken a step back on buying decorations. I feel like that can wait until I get closer!
Haven’t had drama, and have only had one person ask if we were still having the wedding and that’s because they were looking at getting their plane tickets. Next on my list is we are supposed to have our tasting in exactly one month, but I haven’t reached out to my venue yet to see if it’s still happening.
We are bringing in some winter wonderland: our wedding colors are emerald green and white, we will be having garlands of pine/cypress on the tables and my bouquet will have branches of cypress. I also have been picking some pine cones in the forest that I think I will spray paint white at the bottom and place on tables or use as escort card holders. My dress has long lace sleeves and I will be also buying a fur coat and buying some fur for my bridesmaids as well (faux furs of course!)How are you doing?

We have a lot of similarities!!!
Our date is December 5th and colors are also a dark green and ivory! We are very much sticking to pine, dark greenery, pine cones, and white roses for the florals. My dress also has long lace sleeves! ☺
We have everything booked except I am trying to decide on if I am winging hair and make up or paying for it... Other than that we are all set and are hopeful that it happens as planned!Best of luck!!!

Omg me too! I am also December 5th and had gotten so much done before this all started but now i'm way less motivated. I also have everything booked but our transportation. I'm 90% decided on a strapless sheath gown with a detachable train but I might try and find some pretty opera gloves for warmth. My colors are light blue and gold and luckily the venue is totally gorgeous so I don't feel like I have to do too much but I am going to attempt to make centerpieces out of dried twigs and maybe spray paint them with white glitter like your pinecones!

I pushed my July date to December, thankfully my green and champagne color scheme is flexible! My invites are designed and I just need to print. I have some decor left to order, but am hoping to find a good sale. I need to do wedding party and family gifts. I'm in upstate NY so I feel like I need to think of a winter accessory now for me and the bridesmaids for outdoor photos. My wedding favors are in tune with my fiancee's family tradition of always having scratch off lotto ticket at holiday/family dinners (everyone will get a scratcher in a wax envelope with a penny and a seal at their seat). I need to work on music selections, buy my jewelry, do vows and ceremony order, get thank you cards, and work on rehearsal dinner. I haven't heard much from my MOH about bridal shower and bachelorette, but I am trying to be patient. I originally sent her a list and guests and ideas on Feb/Mar, but then COVID hit and my wedding was up in the air. I sent new information in early June hoping for a shower in August/September.

Ugh I really feel so conflicted. Like everyday I go back and forth between thinking it's all gonna be fine and thinking we may have to postpone. It's also such a weird thing to try and be happy and excited about something with all the horrible stuff happening in the world. Half of me feels like going ahead and changing the date might make me feel better but we have already waited so long. We've been together for almost 14 years and engaged for 5Smiley cry

But then again, if things really are going to be bad it wouldn't be worth it to me. Half my bridal party and a lot of our close family would be flying in and I would not want them risking anything or want to have it with out them, ya know? How are you guys feeling about it?
