Debating on asking my bestie to be my brideperson...

So I have a best friend of like 6 years. We have been through alot of ups an down together an i cannot see them being in the audience. I want them by my side like they have been for me. The only problem is that my partner an I will be having a small wedding we have not come up with a guest list but i would think no more than 20-30max.


Does that seem to small to have them standing by my side? I am not sure if my partner will have someone standing next to him.

    There’s nothing wrong with having a wedding party, even if they were your only guest.

    We're having a small wedding with 20 people as well - I am having a maid of honor and my fiancé will have two groomsmen. We couldn't imagine getting married without them.

    I don't think you should worry about the wedding being too small or having each side "match".. If you want someone up there beside you, have them up there with you! It's your wedding, don't worry about "rules". Do whatever you want Smiley smile

    My best friend was married in November 2017 in the Grand Cayman during a 7 day cruise we all took. There was maybe 20 of us. She had her sister with her and her husband had his best friend. I don't think it was odd or anything like that.

    We had an even smaller wedding, only a dozen people. And we had two attendants for the two of us.

    An they of course said yes as long as I don’t have them wearing a dress I said I might not even be myself lol

    Mine is the about the same size and I will not have a bridal party but for sure 2 people beside me up there. There aren't any rules do it your way that's what will make it great!
