db Dress cleaning & preservation

This may be an isolated incident. I don't know...but I purchased the preservation kit and sent my dress out. I got a notification that my dress was delivered. But I never received it. I looked on UPS and it stated it was delivered in a city I do not live in. I have been going around in circles between David's Bridal, the company called Memories Gown Preservation, and UPS to help me locate my missing dress. Everyone is finger pointing and giving me the run around. I am so pissed right now. So I don't know who is truly responsible for my missing gown but just from my experience, I would not recommend purchasing the preservation kit from David's Bridal.

I got my dress cleaned and preserved through the Wedding Gown Preservation Company and they did an excellent job. I felt confident using them because I'd worked in bridal for 3.5 years and they always did impeccable work. Don't know what DB is like, but if you wind up looking for another option, can't recommend Wedding Gown Preservation Co enough

Thank you for letting us her your experience because I was looking at DB kit. I'll just go through the Wedding Grown Preservation Company.

I really hope you can get your dress back. Regardless if DB went through a third party, I feel like they are the responsible ones, especially since you went through them to Memories Grown Preservation.

I had my dress done through the boutique I bought it from, and it was $225 plus tax. On their website ( https://www.gownpreservation.com/ ) they say 4-10 weeks from the time the gown is received until it ships back to you (or the store). My dress was received August 18th and shipped September 21st. I know the website lists some places where the preservation kits can be ordered- I will admit that I'm not familiar with that part of the process, as I've only ever done it through a store. Hope this helps!
