Getting married in the afternoon and then partying it up until 9pm!

I know 9pm is pretty early but we know we will be tired and have a lot of family who would leave by 9pm anyway! haha.

Looks like I'm the odd one out with afternoon!

We're getting married at noon and our cocktail hour/reception will be from 1-6! A few reasons why:

    1. We liked the idea of having the whole day be a celebration together, rather than the majority of the day being spent getting ready! I'm just going to want to get up, get ready, get married, and spend the day with my new husband and friends/family!

    2. Our wedding is a Sunday so we wanted guests to not be out too late if they have work the next day, or to be able to travel back home on Sunday night without missing any of the reception.

    3. We will be able to have a quiet takeout dinner just the two of us in our hotel room, have a few hours to relax, and then still have time to meet up with family and friends later in the evening if we feel up to an after party.

    4. Our venue has lots of windows and we want it to be bright!

Evening. It's a Friday wedding. But we aren't doing it extremely late. We have to be out of our venue by midnight and to be honest I never last past 11pm. So it will probably end sooner rather than later.

Definitely the evening. Early enough that we can have the outside ceremony by sunset, and it'll be dark enough the leave our guests with sparklers.

I’m sure I’ll be awake early because on the nights before exciting events I tend to have a hard time staying asleep lol. I’m 25 and Christmas Eve I still have that little kid stay up all night excitement lol!

Our wedding will be at night. It's almost inevitable with a December wedding.
