Day of Coordinator in Boston area/Central MA- average price?

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas or suggestions about what they think is a fair/average price for a Day of Coordinator in the Boston/Central MA area. I have not started the process of reaching out to anyone yet, but I seem to get lots of different numbers from people who I have asked so far (mostly friends) and on the internet. And anyone who has hired a Day of Coordinator- were you able to have the option of hiring a junior event person, perhaps someone newer to the field, who was able to perform the job well? I am hoping whoever we hire would essentially just be handing vendors the day of, prompting guests, and helping put up/take down decorations. If anyone has any suggestions for individuals or companies who did a great job, I am open to suggestions. Thank you in advance!!
