In my experience getting both my bridesmaids dresses at david's bridal they never took 3-4 months to come in. I always got them within a month and so did everyone else, even if they were a bigger size. Now this could completely be regional, but being who they are and I think they are a staple company for bridesmaid dresses, I really don't forsee they actually make dresses on the spot anymore, they definitely have stock. So I wouldn't be too concerned.

Sounds like the one dress might of been "human error" by the DB's attendant that ordered the dress. But like you said, you have time to fix it. As for the others, I wouldn't worry too much. We ordered our dresses from DBs and they said it could take awhile to come it, and they all came in within a month.

I've ordered two bridesmaids dresses from Davids Bridal (online because I knew my size) and they both only took about 2 weeks to come in. Heck, my DB wedding dress came in 6 days after I ordered it! I wouldn't stress right now, I am sure they will not take that long to come in. I'm sure they just give that time frame since it's almost wedding season so they give themselves buffer room.

The first of my ladies to order was told she wouldn't get her dress until 4 days before the wedding (to which she had to travel, so late would have been a *real* issue) - she received it a month before. My other ladies got theirs within two weeks of ordering. I think DB tries to give the least favorable estimate, so that people aren't freaking out at them if it doesn't come in within a couple weeks.

Call and confirm the color now so that there is no mix up

I havent had any issues and all of my dresses came in early but get ahead of it

They told me my dress would take 2 months to come in. It took 18 days. They always give you the MAX date it will be in, but usually it's a lot sooner.

Agree with PP, all my girls were told 3-4 months and they all got them within a couple weeks of ordering.

I had my girls order their dresses from Davids Bridal back in October. A couple of them said they would not be in until May....but everyone has gotten their dress. I wouldn't worry too much about it.
