David's Bridal Preservation

Maria, on January 21, 2020 at 9:39 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 5
I am Interest in feedback from anyone who has used David's bridal preservation service. I am a plus size girl and my dress is larger and I wonder if that is an issue as far as the size of the boxes or the packing. I also saw only 13 reviews on their site and a few of them were so not so good. Any feedback you could provide would really help me with my decision!

thank you so much in advance

I did the David's Bridal dress preservation, and it worked out great for me! It came in a beautiful box and the whole process was very simple and inexpensive.

I used the David's Bridal dress preservation, and had a great experience....it was not very expensive and the turnaround time was great. If box size is a concern, I bet either the employees working at David's bridal or, once the dress is shipped to the preservation location, the preservation team can give you an indication of standard box sizes and what box size will be best for your dress.

You know I think I misunderstood. You have to find a box to ship it in correct? Then they preserve and package and ship back?

I thought that they send you a Box to send them the dress in. I am not sure which way is correct.
I am worried however to send my wedding dress in the mail. Not sure if this is something nation worry about or not.

They may have a service where they send you a shipping box and then it is taken to the preservation location for cleaning/preserving and ship it back to you?

I had a local David's Bridal where I simply dropped off my gown (I brought it in in a garment bag, and then took the empty garment bag with me when I left) and they handled all of the shipping! I was a little skeptical at first about having it in the mail...especially with moving right after the wedding! but they provided contact numbers for preservation and I was notified when they received the dress and when it was being shipped back to me!

I did the service. I ordered the kit on amazon, and it came with a box to ship my dress in. They did not ask if my dress was plus sized or not, which makes me think it doesn’t matter. I haven’t gotten it back yet.
