So when I purchased my dress last year, I also purchased the preservation kit. However, I'm super hesitant to send in my dress. I'm really scared it's going to get lost. I'm almost tempted to just go through our usual dry cleaner that does preservations.

Reviews on them? Personal experience?

I used them for my first wedding. It was fine IIRC it took a while, but was within the window they gave me. Dress still looks ok from what I can see but I haven't opened the box. It's sitting in storage TBH.

I used a different place than where I bought my dress. I used BRIDAL KARE. They are in NY. I had to ship my dress and was so worried about it getting lost but they offer insurance and I called and verified they got it. Takes about 6 weeks and send the dress back in certified mail so requires a signature. Should have mine back in 2 weeks!

I was not happy when I got back my dress from the David's bridal preservation kit. It was crooked and the box got damaged during shipping. That being said right after I emailed them to tell them my issue they sent me a return slip so they could fix the problem. I got my dress back again very quickly but this time it was perfect. Even though my experience wasn't great the first time they totally redeemed themselves and I highly recommend them.
