So I ordered my wedding dress along with other accessories such as vail and slip and belt. I received an email saying that my order arrived at the store and I need to pick it up within 7 days... only 2 of the things that I ordered out of a total of 5 was listed in the email. Can I wait until all of my order comes or do I HAVE. To pick up my partial order. The store is 2 hours away and don't want to have to drive all the way out there more than I already will have to

As far as I know DB does not have store anything purchased in their store the way boutiques do. They’re a little commercial for that. Most likely they will require you to pick it up but you can always call and inquire with them and see if they will make an exception

I would call and see if they can make it work for you because of your situation. But it will probably depend on how long until your other part of your order is supposed to come in

I had a similar issue with DB. But my store is about 30-45 minutes away. I called them and they shipped all my items (except my dress) to me at no charge when they arrived in the store. They put a note on my order to ship the items as they came in so I didn't have to call each time.

I was told by David bridals customer service department that if you can’t pick up within 7 days the store can mail it to you. Call them and see what they say

I was told (about a bm gown) that if I didn't come pick it up in a week it would become property of the store.

I can’t speak for your store but the one by me lets us pick up things to our schedule. Mine was for a bridesmaid dress. They said I could get the parts all together. I would call and ask though since it is a commercial store.

They offered to mail it to me. I’d call and see if they can mail it. If not I believe you do have to pick within 7 days even if your order is incomplete

I agree with others call and explain the situation. They should be able to mail it to you. I work for a David's Bridal and we offer that sometimes when customers can't come in to pick stuff after a certain amount of time.

I used to work for one and it really depends on the managers who run the store. We made calls the day it came in. Then again at days 8 and 15. By then we asked to confirm addresses for us to ship it to them.

I would call and verify and explain your situation. But I also wouldn't really trust them to keep my items. With all the ppl that work there there's bound to be miscommunication and your items may be sent back and you won't be able to get them back.

Do you know anyone that lives closer? My store let anyone with a valid ID pick up my dress. I also live 2 hours away, so my mom picked it up and stored it until I could get home.
