Davids Bridal Marine

Cavan, on August 30, 2011 at 9:59 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 3

Silly question, I know. Is Davids Bridal "Marine" color close to navy? I'm still looking for bridesmaid dresses and I don't want to make an appointment and drive all the way to DB if they don't have the color I'm looking for. The website makes the color look lighter than a true navy. Oh, and the picture is not the dress I want just an idea of what the "marine" looks like.

Thanks!

I don't, I was there at David's, and can't quite remember for sure, it might be lighter than a navy

I know my FMIL wants to wear the "marine' color from aAfred Angelo's and it's lighter than this. Not this dress but this color- http://www.alfredangelo.com/collections/productdisplay.aspx?productID=878438d1-b342-4a5c-b1fc-5daddd3c32cb&categoryID=772f03c9-de43-4942-bfa0-da77e21ebd65&pg=1&colorId1=

Actually navy is my main color and I"m using marine, it looks good..it was actually a lil darker than I thought it would be. It's def not as light as that dress!

I've found that the colors on David's site almost always look dfferent in person. I selected their Jade color. Surprisingly, Alfred Angelo's satin Jade is the exact same. So it may be the same situation for the Marine.
