You should be able to exchange it for a good one unless you bought it on clearance or something.

I just went to get my dress today and was told i can exchange for equal or more value. The dressed I ordered had defective beading. I saw it at the store though.

The first long line bra I purchased had a rip. I took it back and they just traded it out for a new one. They are pretty good about that stuff. You are not returning it. You would be exchanging for the same item.

Call and speak to the manager and let her know asap that you found a rip they will either replace it or fix it

I actually exchanged my Vera Wang white dress for one in the clearance rack. I had dress reget and the one I exchanged for was originally out of budget. About a month later I noticed a rip, called them, and they ordered me a brand new one. I did order all my bridesmaids dresses there, and my gown was a Zac Posen (more expensive) but it is worth a shot to ask.
