I paid $150 to have my daughter's dress professionally dry cleaned and preserved locally. I don't think I would trust DB or the USPS to save $50.

I found the company Happily Ever After Gown Preservation and discovered it is the same company that the knot uses, except by going through them directly I was able to have my gown, veil, and shoes cleaned and preserved for the price of just the gown through the knot. It was incredibly easy to do. They sent a kit to your house. You fill out the paper work and mail back the items. They send pictures of updates along the way as well so you don't have to stress out about anything. Then they ship it back to you. I had a great experience with them and was really happy with how my dress and accessories turned out.
