David’s bridal Dominique bridal corset/bra sizing

Hey gals!! So when I went to David’s bridal and bought my dress I tried on a Dominique bridal corset and loved it but didn’t purchase because it was expensive. I just found out my best friend is selling hers and offered it to me first which is fantastic!! But it’s a size down then what I tried on at David’s, do you think it will fit? I’m currently trying to lose weight so I think by June (when alterations start on my dress) it should be perfect. I’m wondering if any of you have had experience with this corset and how many inches of wiggle room there is in it like the third row hook to the first hook if that makes sense? Thanks girls!!

I think you should pass on your friend's corset and wait till it's time for alterations to buy one.
I don't think there will be that much wiggle room since the point of the corset is to cinch you in and you wouldn't want to be uncomfortable on the big day.

That makes sense, that’s what I was thinking but it’s so much cheaper then buying one and with a limited budget it was a good idea but I think your right. Thank you!!

Hi Arianna! Can you try on your friend’s corset, or run into David’s and try on that same size to see how big of a difference it is??

I’d also try to find a size chart online to see how big the sizing difference is! It would definitely be nice to save money on this, but you also don’t want to be stuck with something that doesn’t fit! (You’ll just have to spend more money in the end!)
