David's Bridal Bridesmaid Dresses

Jessica, on September 23, 2017 at 7:46 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 8

I am buying all of the bridesmaid dresses for my bridal party (my thank you for them). I have the style I want them to wear and I am planning on going and buying them in November. Any tips/secrets to save a bit of money? Do they have specific end of year sales? Is there a way I could save cash since I'm buying them all together and since I'm the bride?

They give you a percentage off if you bought your wedding gown there.

Honestly I don't think you need to buy their dresses. That's one of the expectations of asking them to stand with you.

The best way to save money is to skip buying anything actually labelled 'Bridesmaid dress'. I would at least try some different department stores and the mall before hitting David's. How many girls do you have? David's isn't super inclined to give any discounts. The biggest sale I've seen there is 20 dollars off.

Also, it's lovely to buy the dresses for them, but anything to be worn at your wedding does NOT count as a bridesmaids thank you gift. This must be something personal, picked individually for each person based on their interest, that has nothing to do with your wedding.

It's awesome that you are buying the dresses for them : ) I would suggest running the dress style past the BP to ensure they would all feel somewhat comfortable in that style?!?

DB often have sales; but we got $20 off each dress because I bought my dress from DB & since FH is a Veteran....he 'purchased' them to get an additional 10% off.

One of our BMs is petite & we realized that size 0-2 is similar to junior size 16-18...they had the same style dress available in junior size, so she was able to save 1/3 the price of the dress. No one is going to know it's a junior dress.

If you open a credit card it's 6 months interest free to pay off the amount.. I am doing that for my bridesmaids and it's easier on my wallet. Also, online usually has some money off. The stores don't usually offer discounts

I would at least check out local shops. I paid less for a designer BM dress at a boutique than a comparable style cost at DB. They also might be more inclined to offer you a discount for purchasing multiple dresses.

Have you thought about www.Azazie.com? I heard good things about their dresses, affordable & can give custom measurements/eliminate alterations.

If you take your time, Davids bridal online sales and clearance has some great sales. It's hit or miss on the color and sizes but it doesn't hurt to look week after week. I got my jr bridesmaids dresses for $39.99 at DB online.
