David's Bridal Bridesmaid Dress Sale

Jessica, on January 17, 2020 at 11:22 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 4

Hey everyone! So I am really struggling with finding affordable Bridesmaid dresses because all my bridesmaids are in college and I really don't want to break their bank.

I found two I like from Davids Bridal but want to know how often they go on sale since they are a decent price then.

I had one picked out from elsewhere and found out I ordered the last one to see in person and they are now discontinued so I'm making do.

Just want to make sure my bridesmaids don't feel like they have to spend a ton of money!

Thank you!

I want to say a 20% off sale happens pretty often with them. Right now actually they have a 20% off regular priced bridesmaid dresses until 1/20/2020. Just keep an on their website or sign up for their emails so you are aware! I don't think I've ever seen more than 20% off with any regular priced dress from there.

I was a bridesmaid in my brother's wedding when I was in college and my sister-in-law was very thoughtful when it came to finding something her poor bridesmaids could afford. We ended up getting dresses from JC Penney and had alterations done to them to add detail.

It might be worth it to look at LuLus.com their bridesmaids' dresses are about the same price range as David's Bridal and they always have good promo pricing.

We found that DB's was a bit too expensive, even when the dresses were on sale, and the ones on clearance my maids vetoed immediately. We ended up buying dresses on Amazon from a company that sells a lot of bridesmaid dresses, so they came in a variety of colors, styles and sizes, and were super reasonable.

There were some cons from ordering online, however. The color wasn't QUITE what we thought it would be, but oh well. The sizing was weird for the particular dress we purchased and returns were a hassle, but it eventually got sorted out.

If you want a hassle-free experience, go with a bridal shop for sure. The ladies can try on the dresses and figure out their size right away, and they can see what works for their body. You also know EXACTLY what color you're getting, and this will be great for anyone out of town, because they will know which swatch to ask for.

But if you want to save the $$ and look online, make sure they order their dresses early in case they need to re-order or get alterations, and be chill in case the colors are a bit off. We should have just chosen black because you can't go wrong with black! LOL. Good luck! Smiley heart
