David's Bridal - Bridesmaid Dress and Virus

Their social media seem to imply that they're still open, but I would postpone for a few weeks if you can. Just to be safe. I'm supposed to get my dress from alterations tomorrow, and they said they would be open. 🤷‍♀️ If not I may throw down.

I had a bridesmaid dress appointment scheduled for my girls for Sunday. However, I chose to cancel. While the stores in area are still open, all of our restaurants and everything are closed. Also my nearest David's is in a county with a large number of cases and working in healthcare I've been asked not to travel outside of our own county. My wedding isn't until the end of August so I have time for us to go still.

I don't know about appointments but my dress was supposed to be ready for pickup today and it has been delayed. You may wait until this all blows over if possible.

I received a call from David's in Abilene, TX about an hour or two ago, and they are closing their store until April 2nd. I was scheduled for March 28th for one bridesmaid dress. I'm starting to panic because I talked to them yesterday and I was told that she needed to get her dress before April! (Before I get backlash for waiting until kind of last minute lol, I added a bridesmaid due to one of my other bridesmaids having to step down.) So I'm not really sure what to do other than having her get a dress off the rack.

Yep just came here to post that too. They're holding my dress hostage for another month. I knew it was only a matter of time with all the pressure they've been given.
