David's bridal BM dress return policy

MrsDamico, on November 27, 2017 at 5:49 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 15

Long story short. My bridesmaids are doing a mismatch dress thing.

One of them got a dress, she wasn't a huge fan but I thought I loved it.

Now that the other girls have their dresses its throwing off the whole thing for me.

I looked online & it looks like online returns can only be made after 14 days?

Has anyone had experience with trying to return after that time frame? its been about 2 months.

I would call the store and ask about their policy and if they would be willing to assist you

I just went with one of my bridesmaids on Sunday and they told us no returns but who knows - maybe locations are different. Just give them a call.

Wait, she doesn't like the dress and wants to return it or you don't like mismatch anymore and want them to return their dresses and match?

She ordered the dress online and didn't love how it fit and looked in person but just was gonna settle on it so she didn't have to worry about it. I also liked it but it has a slight pattern to it that is throwing me off with the other dresses that have since been purchased so since she didn't even really love it we're looking into returning it

I just left david's after 4 years with the company! the store and the online website have different return policies! anything you buy in store is final sale and cannot be returned, if you bought the dress online and it has been passed the return date, you need to contact the online customer service NOT THE STORE! the most the store is usually able to do for you is give you the contact number for online, but that's about it!

I have, since it was an exchange and not a return they gave me a pass. However, I had to order the new dress on the phone with them at the time of the return. Eta: I ordered the dress online as well, and had to contact the online customer service.

Call the store and speak to a manager. Explain that you have dress regret.

Maybe if you ask for an exchange or store credit?

@Kathia G. Do you know any tricks for getting hands on a discontinued dress from David's Bridal?? Like who is the supplier and how to contact them?

She can do a reselect if no alterations have been made. Just call and let them know whats going on. I almost had one of my girls do this but hers will end up working out!

@sarah i think the company has their own warehouse where the dresses are made, so i'm not sure how you would go about contacting the supplier directly. your best bet would be to see if someone is reselling one, or waiting for some of the sales! a lot of the time, the store itself will not discount the dresses they have in store because they can order you a new one. But, if you like a dress that happens to be on clearance and the store does not have your size, you can always call other stores and see if they have it in your size!
