David's Bridal bm dress issues?

Katharine, on April 24, 2020 at 3:49 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 4

Anyone's BMs having trouble with David's Bridal orders?

All my BMs got their dresses ordered back in late Feb. At least two of them have been notified by DB that their dresses were delivered, but they have not been able to reach anyone via DB's special COVID lines for closed stores to follow up on getting their dresses re-routed to their homes, or re-scheduling cancelled fittings for when the stores re-opened. One of my BMs has also been charged for additional dresses she never ordered!

It's possible that they (and my other BMs) may not have their dresses altered in time for our small, mid-July wedding (if we're able to go through it, depending on gathering restrictions at that time). So I'm just curious what experiences other brides and bridesmaids might be having with DB during this time?

Keep trying to contact Davids Bridal through DBcares at DBI dot com (hope that works, wouldn't let me add the email address) at and ask about curbside pickup. I was able to pick up my dress from the store on a specific day and time. It was there for alterations and unfortunately they don't let you into the store to try on, they bring it to you at the door. I was told that the DB store near me is only there 3 days a week for 2 hours at a time. Hope this helps!

All but one of mine received theirs already and db called right before the shutdown that the dress was in and they were shipping it (out of town moh but bought the dress at my store when we tried them on) but she didn't get it so we're guessing it's at the store yet but we don't need it yet so I haven't panicked. You could have a few seamstress lined up ahead of time so they know it needs to be a quick turn around

Try contacting them via Instagram! Not sure if that will work for you but my bridesmaids were wanting info about their dresses due to covid-19 and they were able to get a message back through their Instagram page.

Thank you everyone! I've shared your advice with my BMs. Hopefully they have some success! So far I think they'd just been calling (and getting no answers) or trying DB's COVID text line (which kept kicking them out of the process instead of helping).
