David’s Bridal appt during covid

Virginia, on July 18, 2020 at 6:00 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 1 14
Anyone else have an appt with David’s Bridal during the pandemic? Their confirmation message said I’d be allowed to try on 5 dresses. Has anyone been able to try on more? I am driving 90 mins to get there and really need to try on more then 5. Wondering if they really stick to this.

I have an appointment at a David's bridal next month but my confirmation didn't say anything about that, mine said I can only bring 2 people with me. Have you called and spoke to someone about your situation. It would be kind of ridiculous if they only let you try on 5, definitely not a good way to make a sale.

It was my confirmation voicemail they left...not the email confirmation. Her voicemail stated masks, 2 people allowed, and I can try on 5 dresses.

I went today and tried on 3. My elopement dress appointment was unlimited though. It might depend on the time of day and how busy they are.

I am not talking about the email. It was the phone call confirming my appt. She specifically stated I can try on 5 dresses.

I'd say you'll be good lol. Maybe grab some favorites from their online selection so you can make sure you hit the ones you really want to see.

I went last month through appointment on a Saturday and it wasn’t busy and I tried on like 6-7 bridal shower dresses. It honestly depends on how your PS is and it may be 5 at a time only. They make you wear gloves to touch anything but we made out alright

I think it depends on the store. I went to one for bridesmaids dresses and she was letting us pick off the rack with her. Then went to a different one (only open appt when I needed it) to try on dresses and they we strict with limit and you couldn't touch anything besides what you were trying on. I believe the limit is based on the fact that they have to steam clean every dress that gets tried on

I went a week or so ago, they didn’t limit the dresses BUT it was only two guests and for an hour. I tried on 5 or 6, but I also hadn’t narrowed my style down yet so it was trying on different silhouettes. They also didn’t let us touch anything on the racks since they would have to clean/disinfect

I just went today and I was allowed 5 to 6 on since its was an hour appointment. We were able to comb through the racks and see what I wanted to try on and all. I had to put them on myself and the consultant zipped when I came out but they didn’t wear gloves or anything just the masks.

I just had an appointment yesterday and when we started she said there was a limit of 5 dresses, but we ended up trying 7 because we were still under an hour and my mom talked to her since she traveled 2 hours to go dress shopping with me. So ask nicely and they may stretch the rules Smiley smile
