Went to my first dress fitting. Originally i went by myself and picked out my dress. I never actually had that aww moment. My family doesnt live close so they couldnt come with me. I had a friend who came with me to the fitting who is also my decorator for the wedding and shes walking our dogs down the isle as well. I finally got that aww feeling with my dress. I shed some tears and completely fell in love with it. With that being said, i wanted to give a break down of DB pricing.
Hem $150 (im 5'2")
Add sleeves $69Labor for sleeves $30Bustle $50Additional point $42Royal bustle first pull $50Additional pull $28My total was $419Im adding pictures in the comments of the original and at the fitting.

Getting the price for my alterations amazed me, but when i saw it, man i felt what you felt. The dressed was hemmed so beautifully. But your dress looks so pretty. Congratulations!

It's gorgeous! Glad you finally feel more bridal. But yeah, I thought the same thing. Its do interesting how it changes when its fitted to you.

My mom saw me in my dress when I picked it. it was too big and clipped and none of us got overly emotional. that all changed when my mom saw me at my fitting. it really does change when its fitted perfectly!

Ordered my dress from Davids and I purchased the alterations package, I think it was like around $200 and I had it altered for length because I am 5'0 and didn't want to be tripping over it, I think I paid about $20 for my bustle addition and that was about it. I was a little skeptical because of all of the horror stories I had read/heard about Davids Bridal tricking you into thinking that buying a bigger size will be a safer bet. I was told to buy a size up because a brand new dress would not be the same as a dress many people have tried on over time. So I ordered up and with the corset the dress fit perfectly, it was amazing. I was happy with my decision to go to Davids Bridal, I chose the 4th dress that I tried on and could not be happier.
