I just wanted to update everyone from my last post! I ended up speaking to a manager who said I wouldn't have to pay for them to fix my dress. She also informed me that they definitely could have moved the lace appliques up. This bummed me out A LOT.
Anyway, I saw a completely new alterations lady this time. I also realized that they sewed the wrong size cups into the dress. I love my A cups lol and while flattered that they gave me a B, I need my girls to be properly supported hahaha. Within the first 10 seconds of her touching my dress and removing those cups, she cut herself with a razor blade and bled all over my dress lmao. I have to laugh at it now, cause it’s so ridiculous. But I was wondering if my dress is cursed. She cleans herself up and then the blood and then she get to WERK on my dress and she is pinning EVERYTHING. Basically re-doing my dress. She is dragging the work of the previous person/people who did my dress. She says my dress is waaaay too long and it's longer on one side than the other. And confirmed that they definitely could have moved my appliqués up.She ended up pinning the back the way I had originally asked. She was taking so much length off and I started to get really sad because my appliques were about to be chopped even more. Well, the assistant manager that was there disappeared and grabbed a dress. I thought it was for another bride, but me being a curious little kitten looked over and it was a duplicate of my dress! My dress had to be ordered two separate times, so I thought maybe it was my first dress lol but never asked. Well the assistant manager ended up telling the alterations lady that she could take all the appliques from the dress she just pulled off the floor and put them on mine. I cried! Super sweet! Very pleased with the customer service! My dress is supposed to be done Thursday and I get married the following Wednesday, so fingers crossed everything turns out just as it was pinned! If you don’t see another DB post, all was well haha. Unless I decide to share the final product, but I might forget!
