Uhhh really??

I think people try to give them cute names so it won't seem so bad about asking for straight cash. I think it makes it worse. Like if you absolutely are set on asking for cash, just say that. Don't call it something cute. It's still tacky, but at least it's a little less eye rolly.

We are on an etiquette forum. So....what I think is you can't have a cash registry for anything!!!!! You can register (don't put it on invites!), OR people can give you cash, and you can do whatever you want with it-even go on dates!
