Date change...?

My fh and I wanted to keep our date a secret and just tell the family when it was close to the date. Well my sister decide to have her sweet 16 on the exact date we picked. So we had to move. I was mad at first but it actually turned out better for us. We were able to save up more money.

We had to change our date. Our original date was 05/03/20 until we found out that my BIL (who is also a groomsman) is getting deployed in March. We knew that we couldn't miss having him at our wedding if at all possible so we called all of our vendors this past October and were able to change everything to 02/23/20.

Yes we had it for Aug. 3rd 2019 and postponed a few months and we are so glad we did! We always say now what would have happened if we did get married with our original date it would have been so bad. We didn't have doubts but major secrets were revealed on his end. I would say if something like that happened, then think about waiting.

Yes! We were originally going to get married November 9th and had to change the date to earlier due to finances. We had an emergency last summer that pretty much decimated our budget. We decided to move things up and go smaller, combine our households and whatnot. It was definitely the right choice!
