Date Change on Invitations

One of my friends actually put a printed date label over his mistaken date on his invitations. I didn’t think anything of it. Might look a little weird to others but it is what it is. Better than reprinting or ordering new invites if you’re tight on $

I'd just line it out and write the new date next to it. It can be something to laugh about later, and everyone should understand.

I mean really, if anyone were to be sincerely rude about it, would you want those type of people at your wedding to judge everything else?

How about putting a little note in that says "we can't wait that long! Join us on _____ instead!"

I would line it out and add an insert that you print at home instead of writing it on the invite itself. This may just keep it a bit more formal, and you can print on cardstock with any home printer. I love the "we can't wait that long!" idea from Holly!
