Dark envelopes

Wendy, on March 10, 2014 at 5:57 PM Posted in Planning 0 1

I purchased chocolate brown envelopes for my invitations and rsvp cards. I have tried one through the mail and had no issue but my question is about addressing the envelopes. Because of the dark color I plan to use an ivory or gold pen for addressing. As I was thinking about it more I realized that I would then need to address both the mailing and return addresses on the invitation envelope and reply envelope which ends up being about 500 addresses all together. Is there a better way to do this? Does anyone have experience with printing on the wrap around label stickers? Just trying to save my hand a bit. Thanks.

You could order foil address labels for the return addresses and RSVP envelopes, and then use the metallic pen for writing the mailing address for the guests.

That's what I would do. My first wedding, I had chocolate envelopes, and that's what I did. I went online and found copper ink metallic printed return labels, but wrote the guests addresses in a copper colored paint pen.
