Dancing barefoot?

Michelle, on February 25, 2021 at 12:44 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 13

Once you kick off heels at the reception for serious dancing, do you find it easier to barefoot or something else? I cannot dance in flip flops because they don't lift off the ground with the rest of your foot. In my experience barefoot is easiest. What is your go-to?

Tennis shoes, so my tootsies don’t get stepped on in the dance floor!

I always change into some cute converse. I cannot be barefoot. I feel like I'm gonna get hurt or just feel dirty lol.

If you dress has been altered due to height, it will only match the length of the shoes you had the dress altered with but i am also a barefoot person but i had my dress altered in 5 inch heels so without shoes is will drag all over the ground and i will probably trip hahaha.

I basically live in cowboy boots and that's what I'm wearing for my wedding, so they'll just stay on. As a guest, I generally wear slacks with all-black Vans for the whole thing. If I'm required to be in a dress, well, I really never wear heels to begin with. I'd probably just be in boots in that case. Otherwise, I would probably be barefoot.

I love to dance at weddings, and I have never taken my shoes off for dancing. I only buy shoes that I can wear for a whole evening at a time. I also don't like to be barefoot in public for health & safety reasons.

I will go barefoot or in socks in the snow outside, so the same goes for the dance floor.

I wore heels for the ceremony, and switched to special sneakers for the reception.

Barefoot dancing is fun, but there's always some genius who brings a drink onto the dance floor... and drops it.

I once went to a wedding that the bride prepared foldable ballet flats at the reception, that's amazing, almost every woman take one pair. Ballet flats are better than flip flops, more safe. It's very comfortable while wearing them to dance that night! The ballet flats box set looks like this.

Tennis shoes are my thing. I don't mind heels and had my dress altered wearing my wedges but I wanted to see if I could find a bedazzled platform sneaker. Nothing that matches my 3-inch wedges so I'll be wearing gel inserts to make sure I stay comfortable
