A couple I know from college did this. I wasn’t at the wedding but they posted a vid on Facebook. The bride surprised the groom with it. He sat in a chair on the dancefloor and she danced and lip-synched Beyonce’s “Love On Top” while facing him. I think the idea was cute. But the bride was a bit much and dramatic (especially near the end of the song when Beyonce sings the chorus with a lot of passion). There was a point when it got awkward because she sang and danced and walked around him for the entire song. I think the groom liked it but was a slight bit embarrassed when the show went on and on.

I’d feel so strange personally but if you feel comfortable I think it might be cute.

I think this would be a super cute idea! As some had said guest could find it uncomfortable it’s your wedding day ☺️ I feel it adds your personal touch and you know your FH and family the most! If anything this would also be a super cute idea for the honeymoon keeping it intimate for you guys ✨ I’ve had friends that have done this idea and they feel way more comfortable.

As a groom I would think it was cool, but as a guest I would think it was very awkward. As PP said I would do it on the honey moon instead.
