Dance With Child?

I think it's cute. While my son is older (23) he picked a song we will dance to together. We're not making it a big deal though, we're just going to get on the dance floor when the song comes on. Since your son is young you might be able to find inspiration from the shows or movies he likes. Disney movies always have good music and something like You've Got a Friend In Me seems perfect for a parent/child relationship.

I don’t think it’s weird. I was trying to get my 13 yo to participate in a mother son dance but he isn’t a dancer and wouldn’t commit to it.😂😂😂 But I still got him to dance with me anyways 😂 Everyone that it was super cute! This may help looking up. I don’t know how to add a link sorry😬

HAHA My son only agreed because I told him he could pick the song. He chose Magic Dance by David Bowie from one of our favorite movies, Labyrinth. Now I'm wondering what song he'll pick at his own wedding!

So let me ask this. instead of an anniversary dance, we invite other parents to come dance with their children a little bit into the song? There are about 10 other sets of parents, most with multiple children. If we did an anniversary dance we wouldn't have many married couples, and most have been married less than 10 years.

We will have roughly 30 plus children at the wedding.

I don't have children, but I think dancing with your son is super sweet!
