Are dance songs like the Cupid Shuffle or Cha Cha Slide still popular at wedding receptions? I haven't been to wedding in over 10 years so I am not sure and my DJ was asking if we wanted to include anything like this.

    Completely depends on your crowd and if you want them. Some people hate them and ban them, others love it. Your DJ has no doubt encountered both types of people, so he will want to know your preference.

    Depends on your crowd? We haven’t seen those particular dances at weddings in our circles, because they aren’t well known. However the Chicken Dance and Electric Slide will get the dance floor packed in our families every single time.

    Yes to this. I personally can't stand them, but they seem to be really popular with some people. So, it ALL comes down to your preference. Your guests will survive either way. Smiley tongue

    We had our DJ play Cupid Shuffle and it got a lot of people on the floor!

    We did the Cha Cha Slide at our wedding and the dance floor was packed! Everyone had a great time with it ranging in ages from people in their 70's down to my 4 yr old nephew.
