Dance songs for mother/son when husband's mother has passed

So we are having a hard time picking out songs for the mother/son dances...we will be having 2 of them because there have been 2 women in his life that have stepped into a mother like role. Problem is finding a song that captures that but also doesn't go too far with the "mom I love you" stuff given the sensitivity to the situation...any suggestions
