Amber, on May 28, 2020 at 5:05 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 5

Ok... so I have two left feet and he can dance like hes from the 70's... we need Dance Lessons, but when is it appropriate to get them and start learning? What kind of time frame should we realistically work with? I want to know experiences, ideas, and what were your time frames to work with? Just needing some Advice!!

So we got married in October and started dance lessons in the summer because my husband is a teacher so that worked best for us. We did ten lessons and learned a choreographed routine at a local dance studio.

We’re getting married in October and we started private lessons in February. They’ve been amazing. I actually just got back from one! We’re learning a choreographed dance that incorporates the salsa and the rumba.

I'd start 6 months ahead of time, just because you'll go through times where you get busy and don't focus on practicing as much. I agree with PPs though - Youtube is a great option!
