Dance Floor Lighting Suggestions

Hey Everyone!

I'm getting married in October and we've decided not to hire a DJ. I know most of you won't agree, but I've been to plenty of weddings that didn't have DJ's and it was still fun and had a lot of people dancing. But that's not the point of my post.

I'm looking for some dance floor lighting that I can buy to add some color and fun to the dance floor and I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on either lights they've bought or good places to buy lights. I've looked on Amazon already and found a few, but you never know the quality of things. So please send me links and suggestions! Thanks!

    Not sure where you are getting married, but our venue provided dance floor lighting in our package. Not sure if that would be an option for you.

    Does your venue provide any kind of lighting? My venue provides some uplighting, so we have the option to have that. Can you have candles? I personally always love the light that candles provide, so that might look really nice if your venue allows for them!

    Have you checked out RentMyWedding? We got our uplights from there and they have other options as well.

    A disco ball is always fun if you have somewhere to hang it from!!

    It looks like there are a few options on amazon, but if you want really great lighting you’re going to need to start hanging and mounting lights and getting extension cords etc.

    Rent My Wedding looks like a great resource - I’d definitely check out their options and pricing!
