Dads matching groomsmen?????

Our dads will be in the same suit, but will have a black tie and pocket square instead of ivory/white/champagne.

My dad will be wearing the same tux as FH and his GM's. Not sure why we chose to do it that way...it's just a really nice tux so everyone is wearing it!

My FIL wore the same tux as the groomsmen. We told him he could match or wear his own and he chose to match. It looked nice to have him match them!

Our dads did the same tux with neutral ties, pocket squares and vests.

I gave the dads the choice to wear something they have or rent a tux. They both ended up renting the same tux as the groomsmen. But the dads had grey vests and bow ties, while the groomsmen had blue and the groom had ivory.

I think our dads are wearing black and the groomsmen are wearing charcoal grey, so they'll be different.

His dad and my grandpas are wearing the same tux, but will wear either a champagne or black vest and tie. FH wants to wear the traditional ivory and the groomsmen have cobalt blue.

My dad is wearing the same tux as the groomsmen. FFIL is a little more frugal and already owns a tux, so he's just wearing his own.

I see the dads wearing whatever they want to match the formality of the wedding.

We just did the tuxes this past weekend, and as it stands now, the dads are matching the GMs, but I'm thinking it may be better to have them match their wives. It will be the same tux, but different vest/tie combo.

Our father's are wearing whatever they want. I know mine is just picking a tux he already owns and my fiancé's dad bought a new one. The groomsmen will be in a combination of Air Force/Navy uniforms and tuxes so as long as everyone is at the same level of formality, I don't think it matters if they match.

My Dad's wearing the same tux as the guys but his vest and tie will match my mom's dress.

My dad wore the same suit as dh and best man (my brother) but he wore a tie instead of a bow tie. His dad didn't have the money to get the same suit so he just wore whatever he had.

Our dads are doing the same as KWToBe. They all have black suits so they are wearing them rather than renting and the groomsmen are wearing charcoal grey. We are getting them all the same shirt to wear so they match with different ties.

We opted to have our dads in the same tuxes as the rest of the guys, but rather than a purple vest, they're going to have more of a pewter color. If my mom decides at a decent time what she's going to wear to the wedding (for my brother's wedding she had it narrowed down to 2 dresses and decided the day of the wedding what she was going to wear), then we will change that and have both dads match their wives.
