Cutting cakes- cost?

Hey everyone!

My fiance and I decided on doing a cutting cake (probably 2 tiers) with buttercream. Fairly simple as we're providing pies as the main dessert but still want something to cut.

Does anyone have estimates on how much a cutting cake costs? Also any advice on where to get decently priced cutting cakes (Walmart, grocery stores, bakeries etc.) greatly appreciated.

Maybe look at some local grocery stores rather than chains (sometimes they can be a little yummier) If you are having a caterer ask them if they have a cake cutting fee, my caterer happened to say that they'll cut the cake for free because they know our low budget)

I am using Publix. We got a small 1 tiered cake to cut and 150 cupcakes for $135. That includes delivery. =)
