I want to ask my stepdad to walk me down the aisle. He has been there with me since I was one and him and my mother got married 3 years after. My real dad died when I was eleven but my stepdad has always been there for me. He has always been my daddy Jay. I've always been close with him but since I have gotten older and moved out we have gotten closer. I want to ask him to walk me down the aisle in a cute way. I want it to be a tear jerker Smiley smile Thanks for your input!

    Literally any way you ask him will be a tear jerker. A card perhaps? An embroidered hankie? I'm sure he will be honored and love to walk you down the aisle.

    I think anything too 'cute' would take away from the moment rather than add to it. Just take him out for lunch, tell him you love him and then ask him. He'll be thrilled.

    I like the hanky idea! Or something similar. I understand wanting to ask him in a cuter way than just calling him up

    Thanks ladies. I know he already plans to walk me down the aisle I just want to do it so it's memorable. I want something more than just calling him. I really like the hanky idea!

    I'm in the same boat, so I took my stepdad out to dinner and asked him! Nothing fancy but it was fun to go out just us!
