Hey everyone!

So I want your opinions on something. I'm not actually engaged yet. I know FH is planning to do it soon, just don't know when. He's very bad at keeping secrets, so I have a feeling I'll know before he actually does.

I had the idea to propose to him after he proposes as just a fun way for us to experience both sides of this special moment. And I know FH would get a kick out of it. If I did propose it wouldn't be anything crazy over the top, but just a special moment where he gets to be the center of attention and gets his LOTR band he's been wanting.

What do you guys think? Cute or corny?

It doesn't have to be a man that proposes. I think it's sweet that you want to propose. My future daughter-in-law proposed to our son, it was great!

I had thought about it, but I know he already has a ring so I would hate to spoil his fun before he's had a chance to propose.

I would let him propose first since you already know that he has the ring. He has probably planned something nice. Let him do his thing first so he feels like he had the chance to do what he wanted and then maybe do something cute right after.

I think it’s cool, as long as it’s on a different day from when he proposes to you. Allow each person to have their shine.
