Cute modest plus size dress for Mob?

Hi all! My mother is starting to feel discouraged trying to find a dress to wear to the wedding. She doesn’t normally dress up but she’s very excited to get her hair and makeup done and she wants to look good.
I just want her to feel comfortable and beautiful in what she’s wearing, so she has full say in the dress. I’m just helping her find something because she’s having trouble. She’s a senior citizen now and has never liked flashy clothes but she absolutely hates MOB dresses with the little matching jacket.
She likes fabrics like chiffon, something with movement
Sleeves are a must, she seems to like flowier ones like kimono sleeve shape.
Maxi or a tasteful high low(below knee)
No low necklines but she’s fine with wrap dresses
Plus size(I was going to suggest Lulu’s but they don’t have plus)

Do you guys have any store suggestions I can check out?

I would check out Dress Barn, Macy's or Kohls.

I personally love the first one but I know she’d hate those, she hates her arms and wants long flowey sleeves. She’s been looking at a lot of florals and lace. I think she’d love the blue color though! Thank you for the attempt.

My Mom is plus size and this is what she will be wearing. The jacket comes off but she will be keeping it on all night.

Have you tried Macy's? Nordstrom? How about Lane Bryant? They have some really pretty dresses for plus size ladies. Online too, an even bigger selection than in the stores.

Tried Macy’s and Nordstrom Rack but not Nordstrom yet and she doesn’t want Lane Bryant for some reason. I’ll check Nordstrom!

That’s cute! I think she wants something more casual she can wear again though, she’s been looking at more beachy feel dresses.
Gosh shopping for clothes for another woman is hard! She wants final say but wants me to find it/order it/pay for it/ship to her house. The experience has really been stressing her out. She’s been looking for months.

I completely understand! My Mom and I have opposite taste in clothes so she wanted me to pick her dress so I approved of it, but I told her it was her dress and I would not be the one wearing it, and to pick something she loved and felt comfortable wearing. I would hate for my Mom to look back at my wedding pictures and hate seeing herself because she didn't like the dress she was in wearing.

That’s how I feel too. It’s not my decision, I don’t want to dictate what anyone wears, especially if it’s going to make them feel bad!
My poor mom’s crying over a dress that’s sold out and I can’t find it anywhere for her. She doesn’t cry over clothes or pretty much anything, that’s how important this is to her. She never had a wedding, she’s never dressed up for anything. She wants so badly to look beautiful. I just feel bad I can’t make her dress appear for her.

Is she open to separates? A pretty flowy skirt with a silky long-sleeved top could be a very flattering look. I found long-sleeve dresses can be hard to find.

From my understanding this site is a chinese reseller site so I’ve looked everywhere, on Wish, Dhgate, Alibaba...I can’t find this dress for her anywhere. I’ve tried to find something similar from Macy’s, Kohl’s ect but I’m having NO luck! 😞

Azazie has a ton. My mom is the same way. We were looking at Azazie together over the weekend and she actually liked some and let me tell ya, the woman complains about everything. You can order swatches too and a tape measure. They have more than 2 dresses. Also, check out Nordstrom and David's Bridal.

Oh my god I could hug you right now! Thank you so much! I’ll buy it and let her know because literally anything else I’ve shown her she’s shot down. I’ll buy her this and the pink dress she was in love with last month so she has options.
