Customized Champagne Flutes/cake Knife

I didn’t get any of those for mine but I feel like I would have liked the flutes just so I could display them on a shelf later. I have a shelf that I display my fake wedding bouquet and cake toppers on

Daughter received both as Christmas gifts before the wedding. They were "nice to have," but definitely not needed. I got married more than 30 years ago and received a gorgeous Waterford crystal cake knife and server set (at the time they were probably at least $150). Besides the wedding, we've only used them a handful of times over the years when I've made a point of getting them out. If there are items you like, you can always add them to your registry and someone may buy them as a shower gift. But, if you don't have them, you likely won't miss them!

We had champagne flutes at home that we used and the venue let us borrow a cake knife that they had. I didn’t see a reason to waste money on those things.

I bought the cake knife set and making the champagne flutes DIY. Mine is done and FH's just needs the finishing touch. Then after the wedding we will displey the flutes on a shelf with our custom glass alternative wedding book.

I wasn't going to do any of it but my mom ended up buying us engraved champagne flutes which were awesome and I'll cherish forever. My husband (still really weird to say) doesn't drink champagne so I ended up drinking from his too but I still think they're great.

My husband and I got our gifted to us from my Aunt. I absolutely love them! I don't plan on using them now that the wedding is over, but I do plan on having them set up around our home next to the shadow box I'm making with things from our wedding.

We went for the champagne flutes but they were not engraved( see below), we chose them because they have a king and queens crown on them and we toast using them any time we can, especially on our anniversary. We also ordered the knife set, that one we got engraved and have used it for our birthdays and will continue to use it until we can.
